The Virtual University of Piano (VUP) offers individualised piano training for musicians from around the world, from early-stage study to advanced and professional levels. Our programmes support students seeking to develop solid technical foundations, prepare for examinations, competitions, conservatoire entrance, or concert performance.

All students receive private one-to-one mentoring with members of the VUP faculty and follow a personalised study schedule tailored to their experience and artistic goals. Teaching is offered in a hybrid format, with lessons available online or in person in selected cities worldwide.

Young musician

Applications to the Virtual University of Piano are open to students at all stages of development. Study pathways are defined individually, based on experience, goals, and artistic focus. There are no age limits; placement is determined through consultation with faculty.

The VUP faculty is composed of musicians affiliated with leading British and international conservatoires, including the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and F. Chopin University in Warsaw.

Foundational and early-stage studies are led by faculty members specialising in introductory and developmental piano training, while advanced and pre-professional students may apply for mentoring with senior faculty.

For students interested in piano history, instrument development, or selecting a suitable instrument, the University collaborates with Steinway & Sons London, offering the opportunity to arrange a dedicated consultation.

Tuition at the Virtual University of Piano is structured to provide high-level, individual instruction within a flexible and accessible framework. Fees are determined according to the selected study pathway and faculty, and are set independently of traditional conservatoire tuition models.

Students enrolled at the VUP receive regular instrumental instruction alongside musicianship and music theory training, ensuring a comprehensive and balanced course of study. Lessons are arranged through the Faculty page and scheduled individually in consultation with the teacher.

Each student follows a personalised timetable designed by their chosen teacher. Teaching takes place online via Zoom or the Forte platform, developed specifically for musicians and enabling high-quality audio and video transmission. This format allows international students to study with members of the VUP faculty regardless of location.
